I went into the Design Within Reach store yesterday thinking it would be a good place to find cool (or rad or totally awesome) stuff to put in my hip new bachelor pad.   And it sure wasn’t.  Don’t get me wrong, I found stuff, oh, I find stuff, alright - Tokyo Pop Lounge chairs, classically-styled Tolomeo desk lamps, the ever-elusive Herman Miller Aeron chair - I found lots of stuff but it seems that Design Within Reach is not actually within my reach.  In fact, it’s really only “within reach” if you’re part of the Illuminati or you happen to be a Saudi Prince.  I am neither. Although, I have spent a lot of time studying the back of a $1 bill and I like to take crude oil baths whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Sigh… I guess it’s back to the bargin bins at Targét.
